Meals on Wheels, Etc. has been caring for seniors in Seminole County for over 30 years. Today, we feed over 700 seniors per year, yet there are over 370 people on our waiting list. Many seniors live alone and do not have the ability to prepare hot meals or take care of the homes in which they live. These people desperately need someone to provide hot meals, transportation, help with chores and minor home repairs. Often, their only daily human contact with the outside world are the Meals on Wheels, Etc. drivers. But, with your help, we can keep on caring for the generation that cared for us as we grew into adulthood, because it is our turn to help them in their time of need.
There are three primary ways you, or your organization, can help us to continue delivering services and love to Seminole County’s home-bound seniors.
