Thank you G3 Church from Sanford for helping another Meals on Wheels client by re-landscaping her yard.
This time of year can be very lonely for the homebound elderly, but with nutritious meals, cheerful volunteer visits, and your help, it doesn’t have to be.
Throughout the year, Meals on Wheels provides an uninterrupted lifeline of meals and support services to the elderly in our community who are living on low, fixed incomes. With a little help, they can feel confident that their basic needs will be met and they can remain living at home.
Honor your parents, grandparents or elderly relatives by making a donation to help seniors live in their own homes with dignity – or by donating your time to deliver meals. Visit us at www.mealsetc.org/donate.
Thank you Mastro Imports
Mastro Import, our local Subaru dealer in Sanford, and Meals on Wheels, Etc. partnered again this year to “Share the Love”. This is an initiative of Subaru National and Meals on Wheels America. From November 10 to December 30, employees of Mastro Imports delivered meals to our clients in Seminole County in a new Subaru, of course.
Darden Foundation recently awarded us $10,000 for senior meals in Seminole County. Thank you, Darden, for being a fantastic corporate supporter of elderly services in our community!
Your donation to Meals on Wheels, Etc. will help provide nutritious meals to elderly homebound residents who are not eating proper meals or are going hungry for one or more days each month because their small retirement income will not cover all the costs of basic living expenses.
Help your senior neighbors maintain their independence without worrying about malnutrition!
