TEAM MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
Meet our Meals on Wheels, Etc. staff. These are the faces behind the wheel!
DeBorah King
Receptionist
DeBorah has been with Meals on Wheels, Etc. for eight years, re-joining the organization in 2018. As the receptionist for the organization, DeBorah is the smiling face and friendly voice of the organization. She works with potential clients to ascertain their needs for our programs and services. She does this with patience and details to ensure we have all information needed to get them started.
DeBorah shares that the most rewarding aspect of her role here is her ability to assist clients in procuring information that helps them in some way.
When not working, DeBorah enjoys eating chicken wings and watching movies in the comfort of her home, especially during the pandemic.
Rose Feliu
EHEAP/Weatherization Coordinator
Rose joined the Meals on Wheels Etc. team in April, 2011 as a site manager for our neighborhood dining program. Rose has an extensive background working with children, adults and seniors. As a site manager, she put her background to work as she planned and participated in fun events and holiday parties. Rose also worked in the office two days a week as the receptionist and continues to assist with this role as needed.
In October, 2020, Rose was promoted to position of EHEAP (Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program) Coordinator for Seminole County. Rose works with clients 60 years and older who are experiencing difficulties paying their electric bill during the pandemic.
Rose says working with the seniors brings her much joy as she appreciates their wisdom.
